City Castle Construction Site Berlin
Summer 2014
The City Castle is a widely discussed mega-project. For it's building ground the former Palace of the Republic of the GDR had been torn down. It will probably cost 590.000.000 € while Berlin's infrastructure is poorly financed and the central library is looking for a bigger space. At the time of my pictures the concrete core construction is almost finished. Later the facades made by stonesmasons will be attached onto that.
